Hard to believe the little peanut is 10 inches long in there already. Kicks are getting more regular and stronger, hopefully soon Noah will be able to feel or see some. She's pretty interested in the details of the baby, always asking how big the baby is and whether it will be a boy or a girl, where it's going to sit in the car, where it will sleep, etc. It's a new experience to have a child asking questions about a new baby - since the girls are only 2 years apart Noah wasn't too curious about the baby at that point, just knew to say "baby" when asked what was in Mommy's tummy.
All is well, though. We are having an ultrasound on Tuesday (the big mid-way ultrasound where they do all sorts of measurements to make sure everything is okay) and are very much looking forward to that. It's been such a relief with both previous pregnancies to hear that everything was perfect in there - the heart and other organs, ten fingers, ten toes, all that good stuff. We're praying for the same news this time around.
I've been catching up weight gain-wise, I'm up to 14 lbs, hopefully I'll stay under 40 this time around, which would be my lightest pregnancy thus far (shockingly I gained 60 with Noah and another whopping 45 with Jocelyn). Textbook weight gain is a pound a week from here on out, so we'll see how closely I stick to that.
Here's how the baby is taking over my body this week :)
On a side note - we went to JoAnn's today looking for fabric for the nursery curtains (which, thanks to Laura, is going to be SO cute - she found the cutest theme for it!) and instead ended up getting these cute Easter egg crafts. Noah was thoroughly enjoying being crafty after lunch today :)
I'll hopefully post some new photos of the baby after the ultrasound on Tuesday! Hopefully (although I'm sure Adam would LOVE it) we don't catch a glimpse of anything to spoil our surprise :)

You look so beautiful! What a sweet glow you have :)
I will be thinking about your appointment on Tuesday and praying for your baby to be 100% healthy. I will be praying so hard which has been very hard for me lately to muster anything that would resemble a prayer!
I love you Jessie so much and I'm excited to meet your precious baby in 20 weeks!
Thank you so much, Lisa :) You are so sweet. We're so thankful for the good ultrasound. We're so excited to meet the baby, too! And definitely you'll meet the little one!!
