Adam's Birthday

Adam turned the big 2-8 on the 19th of this month. He requested a dinner at home so we made homemade pizzas and had my family over to celebrate with us. Laura and Kara were home and joined us. I feel like I don't say much about Adam on this blog - it's mostly about the girls - so gimme one minute to share how great I think he is.

From the time I met him I thought he was great. Quiet, a good listener, passionate about so many things, genuinely kind, a peacemaker, smart, hilarious dancer, loyal, truthful and loving. He has only gotten better every year we've been together (which will be 9 years this summer) and he is the best husband to me. He writes me notes and gives me foot rubs, brushes my hair and does dishes and laundry, loves our girls more than they could fathom and makes me a better person. He takes care of our family and above all else puts God first. I love him so much.

The zoo

Laura was home for a visit so we decided to go to the zoo for a day - it was our first visit this year :) We love the zoo!


Hilarious situation - the girls were grumpy this day for who knows what reason - and they wanted to sit by me on the train...poor Laura was left in the backseat all by herself. Though we did force Noah back there for a photo atleast....you can tell she was thrilled about it.
